Course description

The Steelpan originated in Trinidad and Tobago.  The only percussion instrument invented in the 20th century, the Steelpan has a colorful history and mesmerizes crowds worldwide. It can be used to perform a variety of musical genres such as Classical, Pop, R&B, Calypso, Soca and Reggae music.

This 15-week program is ideal for musical beginners. These interactive steel pan classes, include learning basic fundamentals to playing the steel pan instrument as well as learning beginners music theory in a group setting.

Classes are taught and rehearsed with the actual instrument, provided in class. Limited spaces available.
