Course description

Discover the benefits of exfoliation including an understanding of the physiological effects, contraindications, and limitations of each application. Gain a foundational knowledge of the health benefits of various exfoliation applications and apply them within a supervised practical setting. Standards of practice for set up, take down and clean up are demonstrated.  

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to 

  • understand the physiological effects of exfoliation.  
  • explain the contraindications and limitations of each exfoliation application. 
  • safely apply each exfoliation application.
