Course description

Apply the principles of instructional design to link learning outcomes and map them with activities using an outcome matrix. You will apply the principles of Dynamics of Group Development to the instructional design of learning activities for class, unit and module delivery.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
  • Explore a variety of instructional strategies, tactics and tools to apply in designing learning activities
  • Explore and discuss design choices for enhancing collaboration and interactivity
  • Apply the ADDIE model and principles of adult learning in designing engaging and effective learning activities
  • Align learning outcomes, assessment strategies and learning activities using a given design template
