Course description

Building your skills in the development, evaluation and validation of assessment processes is integral to securing system infrastructure and detecting vulnerabilities. Gain in-depth understanding of the techniques and industry standards for assessment validation, continuity, analysis, reporting and facilitating audits.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
  • plan, conduct and validate security control testing for infrastructure and software. 
  • collect data on key security processes and indicators. 
  • analyze and report on security test outputs. 
  • perform specification, design and validation of security assessment strategies. 
  • collaborate effectively with external and internal audit teams. 

Notes

Students must enrol in all three courses in the Advanced Cyber Security program at the same time.
