Course description

Discover how business analysis plans define the structure, timing and outcomes of activities and tasks in addition to supporting the efforts of the business analyst and stakeholders. You will also examine the approaches, methods and tools used to design and manage a business analysis plan.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • develop a business plan aligned to the overall goals of an organization.
  • analyze governance structures that impact decision making, prioritization and risk management.
  • establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • create a business analysis plan that defines the strategies involving stakeholder engagement, risk and information management.
  • institute performance measures identifying preventative, corrective or developmental actions required throughout the initiative.
