Course description

In this course you will learn how to make better decisions with your money. You will track your spending and discover where your money is going. You will learn about budgets, the differences between needs and wants and how to keep your money and bank accounts safe.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • differentiate between needs and wants.
  • organize purchases in a spreadsheet.
  • prepare a budget.
  • compare payment methods.
  • apply knowledge of money and money  management to everyday transactions. 
  • discuss consumerism and its influence on money management.
