Course description

Explore how to manage relationships with strangers, acquaintances, friends, family and romantic partners. You will learn to set and recognize boundaries with co-workers, family, friends and romantic partners and understand what type of relationships you currently have. Lastly, you will discover how to communicate and behave appropriately when using technology.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to  

  • distinguish between various types of interactions with people.
  • determine how to set boundaries in various relationships. 
  • determine positive and negative impacts of current relationships.
  • determine how our emotions and personality traits impact our relationships with others.  
  • outline how to use technology responsibly. 

Prerequisites

Students who are new to TVP Part Time classes must speak with the program team before registering.
