Course description

Learn to create stunning Easter floral designs. Using blooms commonly associated with Easter, you will explore techniques like interlacing flowers to create a natural grid to frame your entire design.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
  • identify new ways to create a floral piece.
  • examine various techniques to create a nest-like armature from curly willow.
  • explore the technique of interlacing flowers to create a natural grid within a vase.
  • construct a unique floral arrangement that will bring colour, creativity and excitement to your home this spring.
  • enhance your present floral arranging skills.

•  Required Materials/Supplies and Information:

  • floral knife or hand held pruning shears,
  • large garbage bag
  • container or pail to hold flowers while working (min. 10" to 11" tall with a wide opening)
  • greenery, wreath form and additional material will be supplied by the instructor.

•  All flowers and containers will be provided to you by the instructor.
