Course description

For children ages 4 - 5 years. A fun and lively introduction to speech arts that builds confidence, a love of stories and poetry, and a joyful attitude to speaking and performing. Children explore the “rhymes and rhythms” of nursery rhymes and poetry, responding to the literature physically, vocally and imaginatively through movement, storytelling and choral speaking. The supportive and dynamic atmosphere allows both shy and confident children opportunity to learn and grow. Designed for children in junior kindergarten and kindergarten. Students are encouraged to participate in both the fall and winter semesters.
