Course description

Mount Royal Chamber Flutes are open to anyone with a desire to become a better flute player, a better musician and to have fun in the process. Auditions may be required to determine student level and proper group placement.

 Mount Royal High School Chamber Flutes is an exciting group for high school students looking for further musical challenge this year!  This class will focus on tone, technique, deepening of musical expression, and of course, gorgeous flute choir repertoire!  To audition, students must prepare two contrasting pieces, one fast and one slow, that demonstrate their musical ability.

Open to high school students ages 15 and up or equivalent level Recommended playing level: completion of grade 10 band and/or RCM grade 6.

Mount Royal Adult Chamber Flutes II: Open to adults and advanced high school students. Recommended playing level: RCM grade 8.
