Course description

MRU Summer Clarinet Institute is a two-day immersive program for clarinet players ages 12-18 (grade 7-12) with at least one year of experience in band, orchestra or private lessons. 

When: Saturday August 15 (9am-5pm) & Sunday August 16 (9am-5pm)

The program includes: group warm-ups, clarinet choir, sectionals, ensemble playing, chamber music, lessons, masterclass, workshops, faculty performances and a final concert on Sunday at 4pm.

Do you want to get better at the clarinet, feel more confident performing and have fun playing in a group? This program is for you! MRU Summer Clarinet Institute fosters a supportive and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, grow musically, and connect with fellow clarinetists.

Teachers: MRU clarinet instructors Laurie Blanchet, Stan Climie and Dustyn Richardson.
