Course description
Develop your understanding of construction-specific considerations within project management. Use and apply project management tools, techniques, approaches, and best practices in project management specific to the construction industry.Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- describe the standard project management structure as it relates to construction projects.
- explain critical items to be aware of and how to manage them effectively for project success.
- identify key categories and associated legislation and regulations to be aware of for compliant construction projects and develop a personal plan to maintain an understanding and awareness of the surrounding considerations.
- outline the enterprise environmental factors to consider at the beginning of every construction project.
