Course description

Create and submit a final project applying your knowledge of specific components of a detailed event plan. Use real-life examples to review and demonstrate the elements, processes and components of effective event planning.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • demonstrate a sound understanding of the key concepts used in event management. 
  • demonstrate the ability to ask the right questions in order to develop the event plan. 
  • demonstrate the ability to put together a complete written Event Project from the initial design to the integrated logistics, production, risk and communication planning.
