Course description

Examine how event logistics are used to plan the activities and timelines for your attendees. You will develop the organizational skills to effectively manage multiple components of an event, learning to attend to fine details while maintaining a strategic view of the big picture.

Learner outcomes

 Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to 
  • develop an event design.
  • construct a comprehensive site plan for an event.
  • generate a detailed critical path.
  • identify the subcontractors and their specific elements required for an event.

  • This is an online asynchronous course; it is not an independent study course. There are set due dates for graded and non-graded assessments and students are required to actively participate throughout the course via discussion and other activities.
