Course description

Be introduced to the demands and expectations of a classroom environment. Discover how to prepare for the possible challenges and rewards of the role of an education assistant.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • practice and apply the ethical principles (code of professional conduct) necessary to work in the classroom.
  • recall and specify various aspects of teaching and learning environments. 
  • recognize the key terms and concepts of teaching and learning. 
  • describe the various experiences and aspects of the teaching and learning environment.
