Course description
Understand how data which is typically included in an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study corresponds with the type of ESG data reported in a corporate ESG or sustainability report. Explore and evaluate the relationships between the mitigation, enhancement, and monitoring measures in an ESIA, and the ESG targets, performance, and improvements in the ESG report.Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- critically analyze the interrelationship between an organization's ESG performance and the mitigations measures it has applied.
- create recommendations for ESIA teams based on ESG committments and targets.
- evaluate the relationship between data required in the ESIA and the ESG Report.
- analyze the connection between an organization's ESG commitment and its environmental and socio-economic impacts.
