Course description

Learn how contracts can be developed and managed to increase the effectiveness of an organization's overall risk management strategy/plan. Examine the elements necessary to create legally enforceable obligations.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • describe how specific contract clauses can be used to address common business risks generally found in business relationships.
  • understand how to predict areas of risk and address those areas by understanding contract law.
  • explain how contracts can be used to increase the effectiveness of risk management strategy and plans.
