Course description

Examine the basic concepts of property law—intellectual, personal and real—in relation to contract management. You will learn about the legal issues related to property ownership and understand how it relates to the creation and implementation of contracts.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to

  • describe the basic concepts of property law.
  • summarize the implications of property law (including intellectual property, real property, and personal property) for contracts.
  • explain the legal issues related to property ownership.

  • This is an online asynchronous course; it is not an independent study course. There are set due dates for graded and non-graded assessments and students are required to actively participate throughout the course via discussion and other activities.
