Course description

Understand the three primary business structures in Alberta: sole proprietorship, partnership and incorporation. Create and manage contracts that utilize the characteristics of each type of business association.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • describe how to better manage risk and relationships through the use of context-specific contracts.
  • understand the characteristics that define the three primary business structures.
  • explain how different types of business associations may impact contracting decisions.
