Course description

Use online research methods and tools for gathering, organizing and analyzing data to support marketing efforts. 
Discover consumer behaviours and trends relevant to marketing success. 
Align research objectives with business goals and acquire techniques for research design, keyword searches, database research, online surveys and customer segmentation.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • use research to make effective business and marketing decisions.
  • employ different research methods and tools to gather, organize and analyze data.
  • evaluate consumer needs, behaviours and trends.
  • use online tools to conduct brand, marketing ,competitive and consumer analyses.
  • present relevant insights and recommendations in a digital marketing research report.

•   This is an online, asynchronous course; it is not an independent study course. There are set due dates for graded and non-graded assessments and students are required to actively participate throughout the course via discussion and other activities.
