Course description

Discover a variety of essential facilitation techniques, from using visual models to capture information to driving collaborative problem-solving and consensus-building. You will plan and lead a short, facilitated workshop, receiving constructive peer feedback to refine your skillset. By mastering these interactive skills, you will be better prepared to design impactful presentations, facilitate group activities, and participate more effectively in meetings and workshops.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to

  • plan and conduct a workshop.
  • apply a variety of techniques to actively engage stakeholders and manage difficult participants.
  • manage conflict during facilitations.
  • use communication and leadership skills to achieve consensus.
  • develop and deliver effective presentations.
