Course description

Examine systems collaboration and successful collaborative relationships. Explore collaborative planning and integration of services for the benefit of children and youth with complex needs and their families. Consider interagency communications to facilitate sharing information while providing integrated services.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • explain collaboration and the associated benefits and challenges.  
  • explain the concept of interagency communication and how it facilitates information sharing.  
  • describe stages and types of collaboration.  
  • explain systems collaboration involving the Wraparound Process.
