Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- enhance your knowledge and understanding of the nonprofit sector in Canada including its breadth, diversity, challenges, constituents, and contributions to individuals, communities, and beyond.
- explain why ethics are important in the operations and leadership of a nonprofit organization.
- identify issues that arise and processes that can be used to manage ethical problems.
- apply an individual ethical decision-making approach to case studies.
- apply a systematic approach to the development and use of organizational ethics codes.
