Course description
Explore program planning and assessment principles currently used in the non-profit sector. Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to create new programs and initiatives in a non-profit organization by creating a plan for a new program from the research stage through evaluation.Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- identify how relevant issues and challenges influence the development of programs and services in a nonprofit organization.
- summarize the skills and knowledge required to manage programs and resources.
- develop a logic model using graphics to describe various program components.
- understand the components and design of planning and evaluating a nonprofit program.
- create a program plan in its entirety from the components above.
