Discover the career opportunities within the interior decorating field. You will explore the structure of a decorating firm, review agreements, sales and presentation skills, along with practical business tips.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • identify your design philosophy and target clientele.  
  • outline the framework for a decorating firm including clientele and services.  
  • prepare a client presentation of selected furnishings.  
  • apply the methods of calculating fee structures for services.
