Course description

Explore the basics of floral design, including the essential care and handling of fresh flowers. You will master the foundational concepts of floral composition while gaining valuable insight into the broader floral industry.

Learner outcomes

 Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to 
  • identify floral tools.
  • practice care and handling techniques.
  • identify flowers used in the course.
  • identify the characteristics of cut flowers: line, mass, form, and filler.
  • recognize the mechanics and techniques involved in floral design. 
  • create floral arrangements.
