Course description

Learn how organizations are able to align individual and business goals through the process of performance management. Explore the three key components of effective performance management: plan, perform and review.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Describe the performance management process Identify the characteristics and needs of employees who performance at different levels
  • Develop strategies to keep solid contributors, high value contributors and high potential employees engaged and performing.
  • Identify performance issues and the performance management continuum.
  • Apply the constructive feedback process to improve employee performance Identify and address the root causes of performance issues.
  • Conduct effective corrective performance discussions.
