Course description

Gain valuable insight into what it takes to be a valued team member in today's workplace. Learn useful techniques for managing situations where you have responsibility yet may not have the authority over others to make things happen. Deepen your understanding of how leaders and followers are interconnected in a team environment.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • define influence in your work and identify your true strengths.
  • compare and contrast leadership and followership.
  • analyze the relationship between self-esteem and influence.
  • formulate strategies for tapping into your powers of influence.
