Course description

Learn how to design a course syllabus that serves as a planning device to help organize your course and guide your work for yourself and your students. You will discover how to create an interactive road map that outlines what should be taught, why, by whom to whom and under what conditions.

Learner outcomes

 Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
  • identify the purpose of a course outline.
  • design a course outline template.
  • assess for an effective course outline.
  • integrate learning outcomes and approaches to assessment into a course outline.
  • adapt a course outline for a desired audience.
  • identify how to use the course outline as an interactive learning tool.
