Course description

Explore and share various tips and tricks for facilitating online learning successfully. You will examine the use of asynchronous and synchronous communication systems, discuss how to utilize these systems and develop appropriate teaching strategies for the adult learner.

Learner outcomes

 Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
  • explain how strategies for facilitating online learning are the same and different than face-to-face teaching.
  • facilitate online learning using synchronous and asynchronous communication systems.
  • develop appropriate online teaching strategies for the adult learner.
