Course description

Explore ways to enhance your instruction and presentations by learning how to best match content with media tools, creating the most meaningful experience.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
  • explore and identify the characteristics of an effective presentation.    
  • understand the steps in preparing an audience and subject analysis.
  • practice tools for getting audiences involved in presentations.
  • identify and explain the use of various low-technology and high-technology tools and aids used in presentations.
  • explain and apply the four design principles to presentations.
  • discover effective ways to close a presentation and test participants’ knowledge.
