Course description
Review assessment techniques you can design and implement to improve the quality of the classroom experience. You will examine a variety of techniques for the ongoing assessment of a student's learning in relation to your effectiveness as an instructor.Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to- review characteristics and practices of effective instructors of adults.
- develop a self-assessment tool suitable for your own instructional situations.
- reflect upon ways that assessment can be used to improve your instructional performance.
- understand the importance of ongoing formative assessment of student learning.
- identify a process for planning, implementing and analyzing the assessment of student learning.
- clarify one learning objective for a specific learning situation, and plan how the learning assessment will occur.
