Explore the various principles of adult learning and how you can apply them to the planning and facilitation of effective courses.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
  • articulate current knowledge and understand important adult learning principles by analyzing an instructional scenario for adult learners.
  • review nine basic learning principles and recognize their implications for designing and facilitating adult learning.
  • apply the principles through examination and discussion of specific learning situations.
