VKOD ADVEN - Adventures in Music (4-5 yrs)
Course description
- This course draws upon core music education in a creative and engaging approach that combines musical games, folk songs from different cultures, movement and instrument playing. Adventures in Music also nurtures the development of the child’s singing voice. Language is used to teach music literacy (rhythms, melodies and harmony) as well as to practice and internalize musical concepts.
- The Inclusive Adventures in Music class will be made up of a smaller number of students who have disabilities or learning challenges and who enjoy music but require extra flexibility and support in a group setting.
- The curriculum is called, Adventures in Music. It draws on core music education in a creative and engaging approach that combines musical games, folk songs from different cultures, movement and instrument playing.
- Adventures in Music also nurtures the development of the child’s singing voice. Language is used to teach music literacy (rhythms, melodies and harmony), as well as, to practice and internalize musical concepts.
