Course description

Highly effective leaders communicate clearly, authentically and honestly to build trust, rapport, respect, understanding and ensure action. Develop your communication skills with peers, teams, managers, customers and stakeholders using the assessment tools, practical activities and strategies introduced in this course.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • provide constructive feedback to enhance the satisfaction and effectiveness of relationships and improve performance  
  • evaluate the effectiveness of listening skills and identify areas for improvement.  
  • explain how key leadership behaviours enable others to act.  
  • explore how key leadership behaviours and motivational theory encourage the heart.  
  • use recognized models of coaching to help others develop desired skills and/or improve performance.
