Course description

Develop your understanding of the essentials of employment legislation and its impact on the work environment. Discover how to interpret and manage legal issues in HR by reviewing real-life situations. Identify when and how to research, develop and implement policies and procedures in your organization.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to 

  • understand the nature of employee relations. 
  • define and develop appropriate employment terms and conditions that will enable the organization to meet its objectives. 
  • understand the legal implications of employee relations policies. 
  • develop employee relations policies and procedures. 
  • identify, understand, and resolve employee relations concerns in the workplace.
