Course description

Apply your knowledge of organizational goals with an understanding of union activities to achieve an optimal strategy for labour management cooperation. Learn strategies for dealing with certification, collective bargaining, interpretation and administration of collective agreements, and resolution of grievances.

Learner outcomes

 Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to
  • understand the essentials of the topic of labour relations.
  • exercise your knowledge of labour relations and union issues.
  • learn key negotiation and collective bargaining skills.
  • learn to know when and where to get expertise from in your organization.
