Course description

Create a highly competent workforce while reducing turnover and decreasing recruitment costs. Gain an understanding of organizational design, development and change, employee involvement strategies and human resource planning. Acquire strategies for recruitment and selection.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
  • understand what is meant by organizational effectiveness.
  • explain the top HR issues and how they tie into organizational effectiveness.
  • state the key components of HR recruitment and workforce planning.
  • state the workings of effective performance management.
  • discuss team effectiveness models.
  • review training and development.
  • recognize change management stages.
