Explore the foundations and essential concepts of change management for organizational success, including the role of a change leader and the change management life cycle. Gain practical insight into the impacts of change and the importance of change management as a strategic role and discipline.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • explain the fundamentals of change management, including what change management is and who is involved
  • identify different frameworks and approaches to change
  • define basic change management terms and concepts
  • identify key competencies of an effective change leader
  • describe the value of disciplined change management and create a case for the business importance of change management
  • identify the key stages in the change management life cycle recognize the implications and impacts of change
