Gain an understanding of how interpersonal challenges and tension can develop. Explore and practice strategies to face and manage difficult conversations in your personal and professional life.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Recognize why difficult conversations often develop
  • Use self knowledge to acknowledge feelings, identify underlying issues, and manage one's own role and impact during a difficult conversation
  • Apply strategies to effectively deal with challenging conversations

•   This course is synchronous and conducted in a virtual classroom. Requirements: laptop/desktop computer, stable Internet connection, camera, microphone.
