Course description

Explore how storytelling can motivate student learning. You will learn the background and history of storytelling and discuss how to choose and present stories to suit your teaching purposes.

Learner outcomes

 Participants will:
  • Gain an understanding of how to apply storytelling to instruction
  • Recognize the potential for storytelling within their class
  • Choose a story for development that will be applied within their own teaching situation
