Course description

Building your skills in the development, evaluation and validation of assessment processes is integral to securing system infrastructure and detecting vulnerabilities. Gain in-depth understanding of the techniques and industry standards for assessment validation, continuity, analysis, reporting and facilitating audits.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
  • Plan, conduct, and validate security control testing for infrastructure and software 
  • Identify and collect data on key security processes and indicators 
  • Analyze and report on security test outputs 
  • Perform the specification, design, and validation of security assessments strategies 
  • Collaborate effectively with external and internal audit teams 

Notes

Students must enrol in all three courses in the Advanced Cyber Security program at the same time.
