Using a collaborative approach, you will practice how to translate ideas and preliminary concepts into meaningful user interfaces to support business goals and user needs. Learn techniques of getting participants’ feedback from prototyping to developing and leveraging design solutions according to insights and collected data.

Learner outcomes

  • Identify design artifact opportunities, select various levels of fidelity prototypes according to the context of your project, and establish a design system strategy by cataloging design assets/components into a universal ecosystem.
  • Explain visual design, interaction design and usability testing principles.
  • Demonstrate the capability to translate ideas into a digital artifact concept that can support business goals.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative and participative approach during design creation.
  • Strategize usability testing scenarios, execute user testing with participants, compile and evaluate feedback, and translate data insight into clear design action items for further iterations.
