Neonatal nursing is a specialty program for registered nurses to develop the clinical skills and knowledge base to confidently work with the vulnerable newborn population.
Gain the clinical skills and knowledge needed to care for the vulnerable newborn population in this comprehensive neonatal nursing program. Four online courses provide you with in-depth knowledge, from performing assessments of the prenatal history, birth experience and postnatal extrauterine adaptation to the therapeutic modalities that promote the neonate's return to homeostasis.
This program is designed for those who have a degree in nursing or are a senior-level nursing student (with approval from your home institution). Licensed Practical Nurses can register in all four online courses.
Your certification can bring increased career opportunities along with greater job satisfaction and confidence in this high-tech, rapidly changing environment. As a graduate, you are better positioned to take on a leadership role and mentor other nurses.
