An administrative assistant supports the management, organization and facilitation of office activities and information.

Gain sought-after technology skills and a range of soft skills that will prepare you for work as an administrative professional in today’s demanding office environment. Learn how to provide administrative support in an office setting, acquire new computer and communications skills to help you earn a promotion or refresh skills as you rejoin the workforce.

Learn to use the most common MS Office software such as Word and Excel in a hands-on setting. Gain skills in the essentials of good file and records management. Learn to write for business needs, including effective letters, reports, presentations, e-mail and web content.

Build your abilities in communications and customer service as you improve your interpersonal effectiveness, facilitate team work, enhance productivity and foster win/win communication. Learn to assess and manage your own response and approach to conflict in the workplace.
