Build your knowledge, skills, and confidence in English, one course at a time.

Whether you’re preparing for English language testing, looking to improve your communication at work, or simply want to feel more confident in English, Mount Royal University’s Continuing Education English as an Additional Language courses are designed to help you succeed.

Our CELPIP Preparation Course gives you the tools to perform your best on the CELPIP-General test, Canada’s English language test for immigration and employment. Learn test strategies, practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and receive feedback from expert instructors.

In Confident Communication, you’ll practice speaking in everyday and workplace conversations, group discussions, and presentations. You’ll build fluency and pronunciation, learn how to ask and answer questions clearly, and gain the confidence to express your opinions in real-life situations.

If you want to strengthen your writing, our Writing Foundations course helps you build grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure skills. Learn to organize your ideas clearly, use transition words, and write with confidence for work, school, or daily life.

Each course is led by experienced instructors and designed for adult learners who want practical, supportive, and effective English classes in Calgary.
