Course description

This class will help build the core abilities needed to understand, interpret, and perform music at a high level for young musicians between the ages of 12 to 18. We will use exercises and musical excerpts to train the brain and ear to work with the hands and voice. The aim is to bridge theory and practice, making musicians more skilled, confident, and versatile!

Topics covered will be sight singing, and verbal and physical rhythmic performance.  Also, harmonic, rhythmic, and melodic dictation will be a core component of this class.
