XPDM 10002 - Data Analytics for Product Managers
Course description
This course provides students with an opportunity to understand how data can be used to support product and business decisions. It covers data analytics frameworks, business scenarios and digital product metrics that influence the wider organization through sound decision making processes. This course enables students to determine why data is needed in product management, what data is the most important, what different types of data needs to be collected to make better decisions and how to use data to support decision-making and optimize prioritization.Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- apply product and data frameworks to existing problems.
- understand various metrics associated with digital products.
- design and create data feedback systems to inform product decisions.
- formulate a compelling business case using qualitative and quantitative data to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Notes
Students must enrol in all four courses in the Product Management program at the same time.
