Course description

The MRU Conservatory “Music with Your Baby - Siblings" program is made up of classes designed for siblings under the age of 5. Two or three siblings per family can be registered. It is a comprehensive musical experience for both parents and children, designed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Each lesson caters to all learning levels, inclusive for the very young yet challenging for the older children. Learning is carried out in a fun and interactive way, focusing on rhythm and beat, basic solfège, as well as preparing the older children for more advanced musical studies.

Singing is the central core of this upbeat and interactive class, complemented by the use of percussion instruments, xylophones, classical music listening and dancing. Full participation is encouraged from parents and students to maximize the learning outcomes.

This program promotes confidence and self-esteem, increasing each child’s ability to focus and concentrate. Children will learn language skills, physical and aural awareness, and an appreciation for music that will last throughout their lifetime.

Classes are 45 minutes long and held once a week for 16 weeks.
