Course description

Become familiar with the basic skills needed to use a computer for school, work and personal tasks.

Learner outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • become familiar with basic computer terminology and operations.
  • understand how to access their student account through MyMRU.
  • identify major hardware components.
  • demonstrate competence with Windows Demonstrate competence with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Meet, Gmail etc.).
  • safely and effectively navigate the internet.
